It started with real kids and a real cake.
Before Wishday, we made these videos by hand. A group of kids, a chalkboard with one name on it, a cake, and a song. One video at a time.
Every time, the same thing happened: grown adults cried watching kids sing their name. Grandmas played it for every visitor. Dads pretended they weren't moved.
But each video took days, and birthdays don't wait. So we rebuilt the whole thing so anyone can send one in under 45 minutes, from their phone, even when they remember at the very last minute.
